Kenichi Shimokagawa, 45 of Lambertville, MI, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at St. Anne Mercy Hospital. Born August 16, 1969 in Yokohama, Japan, he was the son of Akira and Mitsuko Shimokogawa.  He married Taeko Otani on August 8, 2013. Kenichi received his bachelors of material science from Northwestern University. He was employed as an engineer for the past 14 years at Tenneco, Inc. in Monroe, MI. He enjoyed photography and loved traveling to various places to take breathtaking picture. He had been looking forward to a trip up north in late October for the fall colors.
He is survived by his loving wife, Taeko; daughter, Niina Shimokogawa; parents, Akira and Mitsuko Shimokogawa and sister, Miwa Shimokogawa.
Visitation will be from 2-9 pm Saturday, October 4, 2014 and 2-9 pm Sunday, October 5, 2014, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI.www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
